This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA. When you visit the website, technically necessary data transmitted automatically by your browser is processed:

  • IP address
  • date and time of access
  • page or file accessed
  • referrer URL (previously visited page)
  • browser type, browser version and operating system

This processing serves to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security and fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is only stored for as long as necessary for these purposes.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Netlify under Art. 28 GDPR. Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision under Art. 45 GDPR. Further information: Netlify privacy policy.

3. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (e.g. name, company, contact details, content of the enquiry) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or its initiation, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Enquiry form “Personalized by You”

You can send us your requirements, including files, via the enquiry form. We process:

  • required details: name, company, email address and description of your project
  • optional details: phone, division, planned quantity
  • uploaded files (e.g. sketches, photos, drawings, data sheets)

The data is transmitted via the form service of our host Netlify (see section 2), stored there and forwarded by email to our sales team. We use it exclusively to process your enquiry and prepare a quotation.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give by ticking the box in the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect by emailing info@peters-indu.de .

We delete the form data from the form service once the enquiry has been processed. If a business relationship results, we retain business-relevant documents within the statutory retention periods (up to 6 or 10 years under the German Commercial Code and Fiscal Code).

5. LinkedIn post (two-click solution)

On the “Company” page you can display our latest LinkedIn post. The post only loads when you click “Show post”. No data is transferred to LinkedIn beforehand.

After your click, your browser connects to the servers of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. In particular, your IP address and information about your browser are transmitted; LinkedIn may set cookies and – if you are logged in – associate the visit with your account. Transfer to the parent company LinkedIn Corporation in the USA is possible.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG, which you give by clicking. If you also select “Remember for this visit”, we store this choice in your browser's session storage until you close the tab; no cookie is set. You can withdraw your consent by closing the tab. Details: LinkedIn privacy policy.

Our website contains simple links to our LinkedIn profile. Only when you click such a link are you taken to the platform; no data is transmitted to it beforehand.
